Dotty McCormack

Dotty graduated from The Northern Film School with a BA (Hons) degree in Filmmaking in 2021, specialising in Directing. The same year, she made the move to the creative City of Bristol and hasn’t looked back since; taking on roles in the Games industry, Photography and Education.

In her spare time, Dotty indulges her passion for Film by writing and directing short screen projects. Her short film Objects of Desire won Best Student Film at Women X Film Festival 2023 and was screened at BFI Southbank at the Women with a Movie Camera Summit 2024.

Dotty began working part-time at BOVTS in 2023 and supports the Student Recruitment and Marketing team on trailers and promotional shoots, Student Recruitment events, project research and administration.
