Biography
Abbi is specialising in stage management in her final year at BOVTS. She has a strong interest in inclusive and accessible theatre, youth theatre and opera and has just completed a work placement with Welsh National Opera.
Credits at BOVTS include Stage Manager on New Writing Festival 2023 at Bristol Old Vic Weston Studio, Deputy Stage Manager on Wasted at the Wardrobe Theatre, Stage Manager on Emilia at Circomedia, Deputy Stage Manager on Radium Girls at Bristol Old Vic Weston Studio, Deputy Stage Manager on While Shepherds Watched TIE Tour and Assistant Stage Manager on Absolute Scenes.
One of my favourite parts about BOVTS is that it feels ‘homegrown’. From the set to the costume, lighting, acting and sound, every single aspect of a theatre production or film is down to the students. The location of Clifton is so serene and the School being so small everyone knows each other and it feels so personal and special.
