Biography
Holly is a Set and Costume Designer in theatre and performance and has specialised in large-scale opera design during her time at BOVTS. She is interested in the relationship between art and theatre and is particularly inspired by the creation of tableau images onstage that are akin to a live painting. Before studying at BOVTS, Holly specialised in oil painting where she graduated from Lancaster University with a first class BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art.
Previous BOVTS credits include set design for Twelfth Night (Malcolm X) and Julius Caesar (Malcolm X), and set and costume design for Black Mountain (Wardrobe Theatre).
Productions
The culture at BOVTS is encouraging, respectful, welcoming and empowering; the environment and buildings are beautiful and I found Bristol to be one of the most wonderful cities in which to spend summer!
