Maisie Higgins

BA Costume Student

During her time at BOVTS, Maisie has produced a range of costume makes for productions such as Macbeth (Bristol Old Vic), Romeo and Juliet (Redgrave Theatre) and Pride and Prejudice (The Mount Without). She was Costume Supervisor for The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (The Station).

In her final year, Maisie has specialised in the cultural differences in men’s tailoring – learning different tailoring skills used throughout the world.Β  Maisie has a keen interest in theatre and film, having worked consistently at the Bristol Hippodrome alongside her studies, dressing on shows, including Les Miserables, The Lion King and more.

The culture at BOVTS is encouraging, respectful, welcoming and empowering; the environment and buildings are beautiful and I found Bristol to be one of the most wonderful cities in which to spend summer! Lindy Yeates, Foundation Course Student
