Biography
Alice is graduating from BOVTS in July 2024, specialising in Lighting Design. She has just completed a placement with Sheffield Theatres, shadowing and learning from the technical team across both of their venues.
Some of her lighting design credits include: The Ugly One (BOVTS Summer festival 2023), which then went on to have a 2 week stint at The Hope Theatre in Islington;Â Jekyll and Hyde (BOVTS, November 2023);Â Julius Caesar (BOVTS, March 2024);Â Polly: The Heartbreak Opera (Associate LD, April-May 2024); BSA Level 3 Diploma Shows (April-June 2024).
It was always stressed that the contacts you make during your training are incredibly important, and your classmates are likely to end up being on set alongside you in the future. After working with a director of photography on one of the School’s short films, I was invited to work on a project with him outside of Bristol - proving that the professionals we meet via the School, may one day give us a call to action!
