Biography

Charlotte is a Welsh writer from Newport. She graduated from the University of South Wales in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Drama. Charlotte’s work so far has explored Welsh history, magical realism, language, identity, community and coming of age.

Charlotte is interested in writing for television, film, audio and theatre and is passionate about creating accessible theatre and creating theatre for children and families to bring in new and younger audiences. Charlotte was shortlisted for The Alpine Fellowship Theatre Prize 2024.

Charlotte also has over six years of professional experience in communications, content design and marketing, with strong skills in writing, editing, storytelling, and understanding audience engagement across various mediums. Charlotte is looking to pursue a career in the drama and script writing industry after the course.
