Step into the world of stage and screen combat and learn how to create exciting, believable fight scenes safely and effectively.

Over four days, students will be introduced to the foundations of unarmed stage combat, learning how performers use technique, timing, reactions and choreography to create the illusion of a real fight without putting themselves or their partners at risk.

Working with expert fight practitioners, students will develop their own unarmed fight choreography and explore how combat can be used to tell a story. Alongside physical techniques, students will develop their understanding of character, intention, performance, partner work and the technical principles behind stage combat.

The course will culminate in a performance of their fight choreography, with the opportunity to take part in an exciting group combat sequence.

Additionally, this course also offers you a unique chance to gain an industry-recognised qualification by taking an optional exam at the end, certified by MC Combat Limited.
