Elysia Showan To Star In The Mirror Crack’d At The Mill

The Mill at Sonning has announced casting for its upcoming revival of Agatha Christie’s The Mirror Crack’d, including our very own 2026 BA Professional acting graduate Elysia Showan, who will play the part of Cherie.

Adapted for the stage by Rachel Wagstaff and directed by Jonathan O’Boyle, the play centres on Miss Marple as she investigates a death following a gathering at Gossington Hall, uncovering secrets within the village of St Mary Mead. Set to star as Miss Marple is Liza Goddard, perhaps best known for her TV appearances in the likes of Bergerac and Give Us a Clue.

We are so excited for Elysia as she embarks on her first professional acting project since graduating. Elysia said:

“I feel incredibly grateful and excited to put everything I’ve taken from the course over the last three years into action. And just absolutely ready to be part of and learn from a professional cast.”

Agatha Christie’s The Mirror Crack’d is scheduled to run at The Mill at Sonning from 4 September to 31 October.
