MA Drama Writing Student looks over her script as actors rehearse the show

If you’re considering a career in writing for performance, join us at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School this December to discover more about our MA in Drama Writing.

This session gives you the opportunity to find out more about training on the programme, the projects you will work on and the collaborative work you will undertake with students from our MA Drama Directing and MA Performance Design students. The session will be led by course leader David Lane, alongside our Student Recruitment team and recent graduates from the course. You will have an opportunity to ask any questions you have about our training and about applying for the course.

It was always stressed that the contacts you make during your training are incredibly important, and your classmates are likely to end up being on set alongside you in the future. After working with a director of photography on one of the School’s short films, I was invited to work on a project with him outside of Bristol - proving that the professionals we meet via the School, may one day give us a call to action!
