Biography

Fliss Trew is a Movement and Breath Practitioner specialising in embodied practices that cultivate creativity, presence and emotional regulation. Drawing on her background in physical theatre, dance and somatic movement, she supports performers, young people and neurodivergent adults to deepen creative expression through breath and body awareness.

She trained in Theatre Studies at Royal Holloway, University of London, specialising in physical theatre and dance, and is a fully accredited yoga teacher and coach. Her expertise spans trauma-informed breathwork, HeartMath®, family, teen and children’s yoga, and neurodiversity-informed practice.

Fliss has worked with organisations including the BBC, Hearst Magazines and Time Inc. In 2017, she founded Heartflow, an interdisciplinary practice that brings together somatic movement, yoga, play, breathwork and evidence-informed coaching. Through workshops and one-to-one practice, she supports young performers and adult creatives to cultivate resilience, deepen self-awareness and develop sustainable creative practices. Breath is the thread that runs through all of her work, providing a foundation for artistic expression, emotional regulation and authentic connection.
