Lottie Randomly

Cultural Change Lead

Biography

Lottie Randomly is the Cultural Change Lead at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, working to build a culture where our students can thrive.

They have over 17 years’ experience working alongside young people and students in Bristol. Two of their proudest moments have been founding The Resilience Lab while working at Off The Record (Bristol)  – a long-running project rooted in the belief that care and wellbeing are shaped by social and political conditions, not just personal coping skills  – and being a co-conspirator on Generation Snowstorm, an Economic and Social Research Council–funded project exploring activism as a form of self and collective care.

Lottie is also a writer, celebrant and ceremonialist, bringing a deep love of story, ritual and performance into their work. They are currently a Scholar of the New School of the Anthropocene, with a practice shaped by feminist and post-human thinking about justice, embodiment and how we live  – and make art  – in times of change.

At BOVTS, Lottie leads on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) strategy, student support and cultural change projects, creating space for honest conversation and long-term transformation.
