Biography

Charlotte joined BOVTS after completion of BA(Hons) Fashion at Falmouth University to pursue a career in Costume. Charlotte has worked diligently and productively to maximise opportunities and learn all the skills available on the FdA. Charlotte is a proficient maker but recently embraced her crowd trainee placement with Toothless productions. She welcomes all costume opportunities in Theatre, TV & Film.

BOVTS credits: Costume Supervisor onOut of Love (The Wardrobe Theatre) and Julius Caesar (Malcolm X Community Centre). Costume Maker onJekyll and Hyde (Tobacco Factory Theatre), Into the Woods (The Redgrave Theatre) and Emilia (Circomedia). Costume Assistant/Dresser on Radium Girls (The Old Vic), Robin Hood and Marian (The Redgrave Theatre), Henry V (The Old Vic) and Costume Standby on Retreat (BOVTV).

It was always stressed that the contacts you make during your training are incredibly important, and your classmates are likely to end up being on set alongside you in the future. After working with a director of photography on one of the School’s short films, I was invited to work on a project with him outside of Bristol - proving that the professionals we meet via the School, may one day give us a call to action!
