Biography
Iona is specialising in Stage Management during her final year at BOVTS and has enjoyed maintaining carpentry skills during her studies. She recently completed a 5-week placement at the Donmar Warehouse as the Stage Management Intern on Macbeth, Directed by Max Webster.
Previous credits include: Stage Manager, A Very Expensive Poison (Circomedia), The Nobodies (The Wardrobe), Scenes with Girls (The Wardrobe). Deputy Stage Manager, Jekyll & Hyde (Tobacco Factory Theatres). Assistant Stage Manager, This House (Tobacco Factory Theatres), Henry IV (Bristol Old Vic, Weston Studio). Construction Assistant, Catastrophe Bay (Bristol Old Vic, Main Stage), Loam (Bristol Old Vic, Main Stage).
As soon as I visited the School, I fell in love with the place. Perhaps it sounds a bit irrational, but sometimes you get a vibe - and you just know! BOVTS gave me all the tools I needed to prepare for a career as an actor.
