Biography
Graduating from his final year in 2023, Jude is a specialist in scenic carpentry and construction management for theatre. Born and raised in Manchester, he has worked in venues such as The Royal Exchange Theatre before moving to Bristol and working as Construction Manager on Robin & Marian, Emilia and As You Like It with the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
Jude has a wide range of skills that have been built up over several years which include, but not limited to, carpentry, sound mixing, stage building, rigging and stage management. He is open and eager to work on new and exciting projects.
After graduating he would like to freelance and work for companies across the UK on festivals, live events, theatre and film.
It was always stressed that the contacts you make during your training are incredibly important, and your classmates are likely to end up being on set alongside you in the future. After working with a director of photography on one of the School’s short films, I was invited to work on a project with him outside of Bristol - proving that the professionals we meet via the School, may one day give us a call to action!
