Biography

During her time at BOVTS, Maisie has produced a range of costume makes for productions such as Macbeth (Bristol Old Vic), Romeo and Juliet (Redgrave Theatre) and Pride and Prejudice (The Mount Without). She was Costume Supervisor for The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (The Station).

In her final year, Maisie has specialised in the cultural differences in men’s tailoring – learning different tailoring skills used throughout the world.Β  Maisie has a keen interest in theatre and film, having worked consistently at the Bristol Hippodrome alongside her studies, dressing on shows, including Les Miserables, The Lion King and more.

Students developing and growing in confidence during their time here, seeing their work reaching professional standards in approach and execution; a student who intends to be a stage manager producing a wonderful sound design; a first year student making a lovely recording of a song for their recording project; tracking the careers of former students and seeing them be successful; being able to find a job opportunity for a recent graduate.
