Max is a final-year BA (Hons) Production Arts (Stage & Screen) student at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, specialising in set construction. He has gained valuable experience in carpentry, metalwork, scenic art and the role of being a Construction Manager, Supervisor and Assistant. He also has gained experience in various professional crew roles including set get ins and get outs. During his time working he has developed multiple skills such as; working with machinery and power tools, painting, accuracy, time management, team building, social skills and general work ethics and labour. Whilst at BOVTS, Max has been able to really harness his skills such as producing woodwork to a high standard from working drawings, in a safe and controlled environment, gaining a range of experience from metalwork, AutoCad, rigging, planning and budgeting. During his final term he has completed two placements, one at Cardiff Theatrical Services and another at Bakehouse Factory. He is a devoted and industrious individual, who takes great pride in his work, constantly trying to learn new things and develop his abilities.
