Biography

Millie is a London based theatre designer working across both set and costume design. She previously studied Fine Art at Camberwell College of Arts, and is interested in creating work which explores live art and installation within theatre and storytelling.

Millie has a keen interest in the abstract and surreal, often drawn to working on new writing which experiment with the ways in which theatre can be experienced.

BOVTS credits include costume design for A Very Expensive Poison directed by Aaron Parsons (Circomedia), set and costume for Some People Talk About Violence directed by Helen Morley (Wardrobe Theatre).

It was always stressed that the contacts you make during your training are incredibly important, and your classmates are likely to end up being on set alongside you in the future. After working with a director of photography on one of the School’s short films, I was invited to work on a project with him outside of Bristol - proving that the professionals we meet via the School, may one day give us a call to action!
