Biography

Nell O’Hara is a voice coach, singer, performer and facilitator based in the south of England. She is currently completing an MA in Professional Vocal Studies at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School (2025–2026). During her training, she has worked as Assistant Voice and Dialect Coach on Twelfth Night and Macbeth (double bill), directed by Rachael Walsh. She is also working as lead voice and dialect coach on Four Play by Jake Brunger, directed by Bella Forshaw, and The Étienne Sisters by Ché Walker, directed by Elena Wolfson. Prior to her postgraduate training, Nell toured with the renowned circus company Gifford Circus as lead singer and compère. She has also worked with a range of theatre companies including Wonder Fools, The Egg, Full Rogue and Bristol Old Vic. She trained in Contemporary Performance Practice at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (2018–2022), and is a graduate of the Made in Bristol scheme at Bristol Old Vic, as well as an alumna of the Dancers’ Emerging Bursary Scheme at Dance Base Edinburgh. Nell is committed to collaborative practice, creating work that integrates voice, movement and performance in a holistic and inclusive way.
