Sam is a lighting designer and programmer with a strong foundation in both creative storytelling and technical precision. With experience designing and programming across a range of productions, he brings a collaborative and thoughtful approach to every project.
Sam uses 3D modelling and visualisation to develop practical, efficient rig designs that support both artistic intention and production realities. His process balances preparation and adaptability, ensuring that creative ideas are supported by solid technical planning.
Passionate about the intersection of design and storytelling, Sam aims to create lighting that feels intuitive, atmospheric, and emotionally resonant. He values clear communication, collaboration, and a calm presence in the rehearsal room and technical process.
Sam was also accepted onto the SLX Graduate lighting programme, which allowed industry training to support him thorugh his graduate year and into his career.
