Samuel Le Poidevin

Prior to training at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, I trained at the Oxford School of Drama on the Foundation Course before completing a BA in Acting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 2020.
Since graduating, I have worked across television and film, with credits including Bridgerton, The Great and Ridley Scott’s Napoleon. I also spent a year living in Japan, teaching English privately to corporate professionals while studying the Japanese language and helping clients develop fluency, pronunciation and confident presentation in English.
I studied on the MfA in Professional Voice Studies at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School with plans to expand my practice into voice coaching and vocal pedagogy alongside my work as an actor. I am particularly interested in supporting performers in developing expressive, healthy and dynamic voices for performance.
Alongside acting, I occasionally provide freelance online English tutoring and write for screen. I am currently developing a short film that I will produce in summer 2026.
