Those Familiar Spirits
The Young Conservatoire will be performing Those Familiar Spirits for their end-of-year showcase. Those Familiar Spirits is a re-telling of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible, devised by Bristol Old Vic Theatre School’s Young Conservatoire. Performed in the beautiful bombed-out ruins of Temple Church, the play asks how far we’ve heeded the warning of Miller’s text and unpicks what it means to perform The Crucible in 2025.

The School is in a beautiful part of Bristol, overlooking a huge park called the Downs. We sometimes take advantage of our close proximity to the Downs during the summer term, practising fight and dance routines, or voice or singing classes!
