Jass Beki and Tamzin Khan (both currently in their second year of BA Professional Acting) have been announced for the shortlist of Just Add Milk’s (JAM) Luke Westlake Scholarship 2023.

The Scholarship was set up in memory of actor Luke Westlake who trained at ArtsEd from 2014-2017. Since it was established in 2019, the Scholarship has supported four working class actors in their second year of drama school training. The top prize includes a one year subscription to Spotlight, script vouchers for Nick Hern Books, meetings with casting directors and vouchers towards development sessions and workshops.

The prizes are not just reserved for the overall winner; shortlisted actors will be invited to take part in a selection of digital sessions with leading casting directors and agents throughout the autumn. As part of JAM’s partnership with BAFTA, the shortlisted actors are also automatically eligible for the charity’s prestigious Prince William Bursary which helps to assist junior creatives with the costs of progressing their career in film, games or television.

The winner of the Luke Westlake Scholarship 2023 will be announced on Monday 11 December. Please join us in saying a huge congratulations to Jass and Tamzin. Break a leg!

The winner of the 2022 Scholarship was BOVTS student Sol Taibi. Read the full story on our website.
