The Gala Dinner: A Night to Remember

25th February 2026

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School’s Inaugural Annual Gala Dinner on 12th February and helped make the evening so memorable.

It was a truly special night of celebration and community, as we welcomed alumni and friends of the School, both familiar faces and new supporters, coming together for an evening of fundraising and festivity. The atmosphere was warm, joyful and full of shared pride in our incredible creative community.

We are especially grateful to our fantastic auctioneer, Christopher Biggins, and Bristol Old Vic Theatre School students Raf Goold, Robyn Mirmak, Amé Amore, Osian Davis, and our Head of Music and Singing, Jonathan Grosberg, who graced us with wonderful performances throughout the evening. As well as all our other fantastic staff who helped make this event possible!

Alongside the unveiling of our 80th Anniversary branding, we’re thrilled to share that this year marks the official 80th birthday of Bristol Old Vic Theatre School! This milestone is a proud moment for our entire community, celebrating eight decades of exceptional training, creativity and artistic achievement. Keep your eyes peeled for more events and festivities throughout the year as we honour our rich history and look ahead to an exciting future. Here’s to continuing to grow and thrive as a leading creative hub for many years to come.

Evenings like this mean so much to us. Your generosity and support make a real difference to the School and to our students. It was wonderful to reconnect, celebrate together, and strengthen the bonds that make our community so unique.

We are pleased to announce that on the night, the auction and raffle raised over £12,000 for the School, along with additional donations received since the event! A huge thank you to everyone who donated, bought a raffle ticket or auction item. We really appreciate your support!
