We are proud to announce that third-year student Callum Anthony has been awarded the Prince William BAFTA Bursary. The Bursary helps junior creatives with the costs of advancing their careers.
.
“I am honoured and grateful to have received this bursary. Coming from a working-class background, it means the world to be seen and supported, especially by a foundation as prestigious as BAFTA.
.
Financial limitations have often closed doors to opportunities for training, networking and creative development. This bursary will help change that. It will allow me to access resources that will strengthen my craft, expand my industry connections and give me the confidence and stability to focus fully on my work.
.
This support doesn’t just ease financial pressure, it opens paths to make it possible for me to grow, learn and thrive in spaces that felt out of reach. I am incredibly thankful for this opportunity and for BAFTA’s belief in my potential.”
.
Well done, Callum – you can see him perform in this autumn’s production of A Christmas Carol at The Redgrave Theatre.

The School is in a beautiful part of Bristol, overlooking a huge park called the Downs. We sometimes take advantage of our close proximity to the Downs during the summer term, practising fight and dance routines, or voice or singing classes! Dan Hall, BA Professional Acting student
