Biography

Jack is an award-winning filmmaker and educator with a background in film production, writing, and directing.

He trained at the University of Brighton and later gained a PGCE from Bath Spa University. His short films have screened at major festivals including Cambridge, Cinecity, London International Short Film Festival, and Los Angeles CineFest, and he has directed work ranging from live music videos to internationally recognised short and feature films. Recent credits include Bad Guys (Producer), winner of multiple Best Feature awards, and Nailman (Writer/Director), shot on super 16mm and selected for festivals worldwide.

Alongside his creative work, Jack has taught film across a range of contexts, including as Lead Instructor of Film at UWE Bristol and Film Lecturer at Wiltshire College. He is currently a Trustee of Somerset Film and Black Swan Arts.
