Olivia Dowd is an actor, facilitator and maker with a degree in Human Geography (UCL). Their training background has been with National Youth Theatre Rep company in 2018/19 and trained with the Suzuki Company of Toga. Liv has performed in a number of theatres (Garrick, Soho, Lyric Hammersmith, Almeida, Camden Roundhouse, CPT, CAA Toronto).
As a facilitator, Liv is interested in collaborative, ensemble based practices, highly influenced by their training with SCOT and SITI Company. They are an Emerging Associate at NYT and a tutor on the Foundation course at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
Their experimental short films, Minutes and Messenger have screened at LSFF, BFI Flare, Outfest L.A and in 2023 they received the Best Director award at the British Short Film Awards.
