Alys MacGregor

Alys is a Director and Theatre Maker based in London. Influenced by her background as an actor, Alys’ process is collaborative and she creates work that brings people together in a trusting and fun environment. She is drawn to work that brings the audience fully into the world of the play and is passionate about using the work she creates to open doors for other exceptional artists.Originally studying at University Arts London finishing with a First in Contemporary Theatre (BA), Alys went on to assistant direct multiple productions including The legend of Sleepy Hollow (National Tour), Curious Incident of The Dog In the Nighttime (Wimbledon Studio) and Gun to Your Head (Tour) and is currently studying the MA Directing course at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Other credits include: MEAT (Bristol Old Vic), Days of Significance (The Station), Winter Wonder (Southwark Playhouse), Twelfth Night (Wimbledon Studio) and S Rioghal Mo Dhream.
