Angelica Robinson

BA Costume Student

Biography

Angelica has spent her final year specialising in women’s equestrian clothing, showcasing work with historically accurate construction techniques whilst embodying narratives and character within the clothes. Having completed placements at Cosprop and Gatewell Productions, Angelica hopes to expand on her workroom experience whilst embracing every opportunity the costume industry has to offer in Theatre, TV and Film.

BOVTS credits: Costume Supervisor on Pride and Prejudice (The Mount Without), Costume Maker on  A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Malcolm X Community Centre), Loam (Bristol Old Vic), Great Expectations (West Country Tour), Romeo & Juliet (Redgrave Theatre) and Macbeth (Western Studio).  Costume Standby on It had to be you, Sidelined (BOVTV).  Costume Assistant/Dresser on Three Seagulls (Bristol Old Vic), Troilus & Cressida (Redgrave Theatre) and Hedda (Bristol Old Vic).

One of my favourite parts about BOVTS is that it feels ‘homegrown’. From the set to the costume, lighting, acting and sound, every single aspect of a theatre production or film is down to the students. The location of Clifton is so serene and the School being so small everyone knows each other and it feels so personal and special. Violet Morris, BA Professional Acting Student
