Biography

Bobby is a Performance Designer based in Bristol, with an MA in Performance Design from BOVTS. He enjoys exploring the integration of set, costume, and creative technologies, with a particular interest in how light shapes space from the earliest stages of design.

His process is rooted in the marriage of visual and technical elements, aiming to create immersive environments that support narrative and performance. He is dedicated to creating atmospheric environments that enriches storytelling & invites audiences into its world.

Before his training at BOVTS, Bobby studied Film & Theatre at the University of Bristol. He was also Artist in Residence at the University of Bristol Theatre Collection.

Selected credits include Set Designer for Much Ado About Nothing and A Midsummer Night’s Dream at The Station, Set & Costume Designer for Ballyturk at the Weston Studio, Bristol Old Vic.
