Biography
Ellie Jay Stevens is a theatre director, playwright and practitioner from Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. Currently studying MA Drama Directing at BOVTS, Ellie is particularly passionate about creating empowering and accessible work. She has a keen interest in creating visually stimulating theatre and creates performances with a blend of realism acting and stylised settings.
Ellie is the founder and Artistic Director of Dark Skies – a theatre company committed to giving women from rural areas of Scotland a voice within Scottish contemporary theatre.
