Biography

Jen is specialising in Location Management and as an AD during her final year at BOVTS. Jen has completed her industry placement on Jaimes Yoga Adventures (Zodiak Kids for Sky Kids) as a production office trainee. She has undertaken a range of roles across various festivals including: Artist Liaison at Sidmouth Folk Festival and The Green Gathering. Production logger for Theatre & Circus at Glastonbury and is now Deputy Artist-Liaison Coordinator at The Green Gathering.

Professional credits include: Location Marshall on Hamnet (Rowan Tree Films for Universal Films), Young Sherlock (Motive Pictures for Amazon Prime), Can You Keep A Secret (Big Talk Ltd for BBC) and Art Department Assistant on Jaimes Yoga Adventures (Zodiak Kids for Sky Kids)

Credits at BOVTS include Location Manager on short films The True Accounts of the Scafell Six, Palindrome and Say You’re Sorry. Location Assistant on Polaroid, 1st AD on Feet of Clay and The Secret; 2nd AD on Disciples; Assistant Stage Manager on A Very Expensive Poison; and Deputy Stage Manager for No One Will Tell Me How To Start A Revolution.

It was always stressed that the contacts you make during your training are incredibly important, and your classmates are likely to end up being on set alongside you in the future. After working with a director of photography on one of the School’s short films, I was invited to work on a project with him outside of Bristol - proving that the professionals we meet via the School, may one day give us a call to action!
