Biography
Lydia McKinley is a theatre director and dramaturg who works mainly in the development of new-writing. She is currently finishing an MA in Drama Directing at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and is based between the South West and London.
Her work tends to centre around the female experience, the politics of gender and the climate crisis.
Training at BOVTS set me up with the skillset, confidence and connections for the career I now have as a freelance theatre designer.
