A collaboration between Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and Dream & Make.
Dream & Make Design Camp, is an imaginative, art, costume and set design camp inspired by the natural world. With the theme of “Wild Things,” children will explore wildlife, habitats and the colours and patterns found in the natural world to create their own magical worlds throughout the week.
Young Artists will explore designing, making, materials, storytelling and creative ideas, through playful art and design practices and experimentation in a professional studio space and outdoor learning environment.
The camp is led by Laura Phillimore, an alumni of the Theatre School, returning after their own successful creative journey and Fliss Trew a yoga specialist. They will work alongside a current production design student and create a rich, supportive learning environment where experience, mentorship, and fresh ideas meet. This camp invites Young Artists to experiment with contemporary sculpture, movement, collage, printmaking, puppetry, set design and installation through playful interactive sessions.
